Wrayflex camera
35mm camera for 50 exposures 32 x 24mm. Wray unilite lens F:50mm f/2-22. Serial No 110095. With fabric focal plate shutter 2/5/10/25/50/100/250/500/1000/B. Automatic exposure counter, shutter cocked and film wound on by recess key in base. Reflex viewing via mirror giving laterally reversed image. Small magnifier in centre of ground glass screen. Wrayflex 35mm camera, made by Wray Optical Works Limited in Bromley, England, c. 1951.
Three models of Wrayflex were made; 1, 1a and 2. The first model was launched at the Festival of Britain in London in May 1951. It took 44 pictures on a standard roll of 36-exposure 35mm film, each frame measuring 24 x 32mm.
