Pathescope prince 9.5mm camera. Movie camera for 9.5mm film in H type chargers. 27 degrees Colortar lens f/2.8-22 No. 017752, coated. F: 23mm. Clockwork motor drive 45 seconds run. Single frame (snapshot)/ continuous run release. Rotating footage counter for 25 foot load. Direct vision optical viewfinder with cross wires. Inching knob. Exposure guide for 25 degrees Sch. film on side (' for P.C.F colour film'). With nylon carrying strap. Smiths for Pathescope.

By the mid1950s sales of 9.5mm cine equipment had begun to fall. A British businessman bought out the French interest in Pathescope and by 1957 Pathescope (Great Britain) Ltd had been formed. One of their aims was to manufactur emore products in the UK. By 1959 a new 9.5mm cine camera and projector were announced, the Prince and the Princess, with the added benefit of the camera being able to take still images too. the Prince was manufactured by Smiths at their factory in Cheltenham for Pathescope. Fitted with a black nylon wriststrap, it was supplied with a matching black nylon case.
