Obverse: '"Cripplegate Institute" "Founded 1896" with representation of building and two seated female figures, one with the world globe and the other with an artist's palette. Reverse: "Awarded to H. Thurston for photographic class work Winter and Spring Sessions 1912-1913". Within laurel wreath.
