Mixing jet for limelight. Two feed pipes with screw taps marked HY and OX terminating in small chamber with nozzle. Lime holder adjustable for height and proximity to jet by screws from rear.
The mixed jet, was the limelight jet most often used by professional lanternists to control the light source in a magic lantern presentation. Both oxygen and hydrogen are under equal pressure, normally around 5 pounds per square inch.
