Shortly after Adolf Hitler was appointed as Chancellor of Germany in January 1933, an organised campaign was undertaken by the Nazi Party against Jews in Germany. Protests against Hitler's policies were organised in the United Kingdom, United States and other countries to encourage Germany to change its anti-Jewish policies.
