A photograph of the new Hoover factory at Western Avenue, Perivale, Middlesex, taken in July 1935 by George Woodbine for the Daily Herald.
The factory was designed for Hoover, the manufacturers of vacuum cleaners, by the British architectural partnership Wallis, Gilbert and Partners, who were responsible for the design of many of the Art Deco buildings in the UK in the 1920s and 30s.
