Cash, born J R Cash, was an American country music-influenced singer/songwriter who also starred in his own television programme 'The Johnny Cash Show'. Known for his 'Man in Black' persona, Cash performed in various prisons in the US (and one in Sweden) and was an advocate for prison reform. Johnny Cash was in England for a television appearance.
