A little girl enjoys playing on the slide. Meanwhile, a young boy seems to be taking advantage of the distraction caused by the photographer to try and hit her. The Foundling Hospital in London, established in 1739 by Thomas Coram (1668-1751), cared for orphaned, poor and homeless children.
