Volume, paper with leather-covered card covers, Train Service between London & Scotland 1st July 1895 to 31st December 1896, assembled by the North Eastern Railway, York, 1896. Contains printed timetables comparing the East Coast, West Coast and Midland route times from London to Scotland, and also some printed letters to the Caledonian and North British Railways instructing them on service provision. These timetables were instituted after the Races to the North. The volume belonged to one C. Ernest of York, and has at some point been rebound by Symington of York.
