Collection of glass plate negatives from the S.O. series
Collection of glass plate negatives described as having come from the S.O. series. The negatives depict a number of subjects, and are potentially holiday photographs as they feature a variety of scenes, including views of countrysides, towns and villages, castles and churches, and the seaside; many of the images depict people visiting these places including countryside and mountain views; towns/villages; beaches and the sea; views of individuals visiting towns/villages or houses and walking in the countryside. There are also a number of images featuring a wedding, and a series of portrait style photographs mostly depicting two children. There is another small set of glass plate negatives which also feature portrait photographs. Finally there are six bundles of tissue wrapped glass plate negatives depicting outdoor scenes taken around the UK. They appear to be from the late 19th/early 20th century.
