BBC AM1/9 Amplifier Response Selector, rackmount version, 1965. Full BBC number AM1/9/61. Used in Broadcasting House. Used to modify the frequency response of an audio channel. It includes narrow notch filters to enable the elimination of mains hum and the line whistle (both 405 & 625 line) produced by TV sets and monitors.
