2 x Reslo ribbon microphones, Type VRT/M, 1962, on flexible stems, as used by the BBC for talkback.

The Type VRT/M is a BBC modification of the standard Reslo RB ribbon microphone. These microphones have the inscriptions BBC No. 247 and BBC No. 256. The base RB ribbon microphones were popular commercial ribbon units, and relatively inexpensive. The short ribbon and low power magnet made them fairly insensitive.
