Marconi Mk III picture and waveform monitor, 1954-1956. Used to line up the camera output, to ensure it is the correct broadcast specification. It made it possible to see the picture output and the line or field structure as a waveform looking through the picture with black at the bottom and white at the top. The scale is 0% synchronising pulses bottom, 30% black level, 100% white level. 0% to 100% measures 1 volt.
