The Burdept Ethophone IV in its finely crafted mahogany cabinet was one of the more expensive radios available in 1926. Its price of £26 was the equivalent of about 2 months average wages. Wave bands include: Broadcast, Long Wave and Short Wave. As the name of the radio indicates, it uses four valves.
