













Presentation Model of the 1922 Shukhov Radio Tower, also known as the Shabolovka tower, created by the model builder Henry Milner, England, 2014.
Commissioned by Lenin and designed by Russian Engineer Vladimir Shukhov, the 'Eiffel Tower of the East' was completed in 1922 with the purpose of communicating successes of Communism through the revolutionary technology of broadcast radio. Still in place today, the beautiful and intricate conical steel lattice tower displays the innovative modernist architecture and landmark engineering design.
