75x60mm half Morocco leather case with single latch. Edged with gold leaf and lined with red plush. Rectangular gilt mat with rounded top. Pinchbeck frame. Lacquer back. Paper in back reads 'Herbert January 1862). 39x52mm three quarter portrait of young boy seated on stool. Three quarter face.
