80x95mm cloth covered wooden case with medallion design stamped on front and back. Single latch. Lined with red plush stamped with abstract design. Ornate rectangular gilt mat with fluted edges. Flower patterend pinchbeck frame. 50x65mm full length portrait of young baby. Paper inside reads 'Florence Abbie Nicholson. Nov 1st 1879. Age 16 weeks.' Lacquer back.
