Collodion Positive in Red Morocco Case
95x120mm red Morocco leather case with two latches. Tooled lines on front.Lined with plain red plush. Rectangular plain gilt mat with rounded top. No glass or frame.Paper on back of case reads 'Collodion Positive J Spiller 1853'. Lacquer back. 65x90mm three quarter portrait of lady seated wearing checked dress with pointed lace collar and cuffs. Large cameo brooch. Middle aged, three quarter face. (Possiblly John Spiller).
