Rivetting machine made by De Bergue & Co., Manchester, 1923.

De Bergue & Co. operated at the Strangeways Iron Works, Manchester, as well as the Wauntreoda Iron Works in Cardiff. They had an office at 10, Strand in London. The company was established by Charles De Bergue in 1850 in Manchester. The company specialised in building railway bridges, and in making and developing the machines used to make them, including machine tools for shearing, punching, riveting, rail-levelling, and rivet-making.
