Part of Bedson-type rod rolling mill, known as a No Twist Wire Rod Mill. The machine was designed by Morgan Construction Company (USA) after the original design of George Bedson (UK). This is an American machine made by Morgan, built in Manchester and used by Richard Johnson & Brother Ltd, Manchester, c.1872.
