Miner's safety lamp, made by Protector Flame and Lighting Co. Ltd miner's lamp, type 4 JCM, c. 1910.

After Protector acquired Johnson, Clapham & Morris's lamp making busing c.1910, they continued to make a number of the JCM models into the 1920s.
