15.7-hp six-cylinder Shelsley motor car, made by Crossley Motors Ltd, Gorton, Manchester, 1929.
This saloon car dates from 1929 and was intended to be sold as a family vehicle. However, it was not affordable for most Manchester families. It cost £495 to buy which was about the same price as a semi-detached house in suburban Manchester.
