Blotting stamp, unknown maker, 1950-1970.
This stamp for blotting ink was formerly used by staff in the administrative offices of the Science Museum. Until the National Heritage Act 1983, the Science Museum was run as a part of the civil service. Office materials were supplied by HM Stationery Office.
