Oval watch in a silver-gilt case with an engraved silver edge, by Auguier, Nogent-le-Roi, France. The gilded dial is engraved and has an applied silver hour ring with a steel hand. The movement has a train of three wheels, verge escapement and ratchet-wheel set up with a pierced cover. The balance cock has an oval shaped table and is pinned on. Signed ‘Auguier A Nogent le Roi’. France, c.1625
