Watch with a gilt-metal case covered in engraved flowers and an enamel portrait on the dial by Jean Hubert, Rouen, France, c.1650. Enamel dial formed of a white chapter ring, surrounding a portrait believed to be of Anne Marie Louise d’Orléans, Duchesse de Montpensier (1627-1693). Later steel hand. Movement with verge escapement, train with three wheels, worm-and-wheel set up, and balance cock with oval shaped foot screwed to backplate. Fusee with gut line. Signed on backplate 'Jean Hubert A Rouen'.
