Watch movement by Daniel Quare, London c.1700. Later white enamel dial and wavy hands. Winding through dial. Movement with verge escapement, very large balance cock with unusual decoration and Egyptian pillars with foliage. Signed on the backplate ‘Daniel Quare London 3543’.
