Gold pair-cased repeating watch by Thomas Mudge and William Dutton, London, hallmarked 1791 – 2. Plain gold inner and outer cases. White enamel dial with gold beetle hands. Dust cap, signed ‘Tho. Mudge W. Dutton London'. Movement with duplex escapement and half-quarter repeating work, striking on blocks inside the case. Signed on the backplate ‘Tho. Mudge W. Dutton London 1432’.
