Spring driven, musical table clock by an unknown maker, probably France, late 18th century. Rectangular ebonised wood case with ormolu mounts. White enamel dial with gilt hands and centre seconds. Movement with duplex escapement, and a single mainspring which drives the going, striking, quarter-chiming and musical trains. One of four airs is played after each hour.
