Founded in 1987 NAT (National AIDS Trust)is a charity, dedicated to transforming the UK’s response to HIV, supporting people’s rights and campaigning for change. They aim to educate the public about HIV transmission so they have the information they need to protect themselves and others. Many people living with HIV face stigma and discrimination, being treated differently at home, at work, in public and healthcare settings. Campaigns like this one, aim to educate people how the virus cannot be passed on amid huge misinformation and misunderstanding.
HIV is passed on through some bodily fluids, if the person with HIV has a detectable viral load. HIV cannot be passed on through saliva, sweat or urine.
