An edited photograph of bus conductors on strike at Camberwell. The photograph has been edited by the Daily Herald staff to give the appearance of more conductors by drawing in hats in the background. The article on the reverse reads: “Bus Strike Extends: Scenes at Camberwell. The Camberwell L.G.O.C. busmen, the largest garage in S.E. London, came out on strike this morning Jan 20 in sympathy with the Forest Gate men who struck yesterday against the new time schedule of the services. Associated Press Photo shows; Busmen outside the Camberwell Garage discussing the situation this morning.” Associated Press Photo. 1933.
