Weather at Barry Island, Glamorgan. 2 1/2 year old Penny Johnson on holiday from Ledburry, waits under a promenade shelter. Miners Ted Gardiner and Bill Walker from Cefn Forest, Pengam, both brought their families on a day trip. They've had so much rain during their 14-day holiday tha they stayed on the beach despite the rain. Unknown photographer, 1960.
