'Greyfriars Bobby' lives again. Original caption reads: 'Greyfriars Bobby', the hardy little Skye terrier who made Scottish history a century ago with his vigilance over an old shepherd's gravey in Edinburgh's Greyfriar's Churchyard, will live again in the Walt Disney film which is being made in authentic surroundings in Scotland. Here the new 'Bobby', a 19-month-old Skye terrier from Stornaway, sits on the Regimental drum of the 1st Bn. The Queen's Own Cameronian Highlanders, during the film location work in the confines of Edinburgh Castle.Daily Herald photograph, 29 July 1960.
