Postcard of Greyfriars Bobby. (Left) The statue erected in Edinburgh in memorial of 'Bobby', the Skye terrier whose devotion to his master earned him a place in history - and (right) the canine film star who will portray him in Walt Disney's forthcoming production, 'Greyfriars Bobby'.

Postcard addressed to Paul Hopkins Esq. of the Daily Herald newspaper and mailed on 14 July 1960 from Edinburgh. The message from Catherine O'Brien reads: 'You won't have to come to Berlin to meet Bobby - He'll be receving visitors Shepperton from next Monday.'
