Photographic contact sheet titled 'Bertram Mills Circus'. Caption on back reads: '(At Pontypridd until after 7th, Neath 8th to 10th, the next week in Swansea). It is very rare for an elephant to be on good terms with any other sort of animal, but the elephants of Bertram Mills Circus, now in South Wales have a very tiny friend in Bambi, the tiny Yorkshire terrier pet of elephant trainer Gusta Kruse. OPS. 4-year-old Bambi thinks that the friendship is being taken a bit too far when 7-year-old elephant Kam helps herself to the bowl of dog biscuits.'
