London Schools' Christmas Festival begins

The first concert of the 1955 London Schools' Christmas Carol Festival, is taking place today at the Central Hall, Westminster. A massed choir of some 16,00 children from more than 550 schools in all parts of London are taking part in this Festival, which comprises a series of six concerts, on December 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 12th and 13th, the first two being held at the Central Hall and the last four at the Royal Festival Hall.
