The Sun photograph by Bob Hope. Caption on back reads: Air traffic control officers at London Airport watched, horrified, when they saw what looked like an air steward welcoming passengers on board a Moscow bound Vanguard, with warm embraces, hand-shakes, and kisses to the ladies. They grabbed binoculars and to their relief they saw it was "always the comedian Larry"...Sir Laurence Olivier flying out with the National Theatre Company. Sir Laurence swapped his mustard colour check suit and cloth cap for a Special Facilities Officer's uniform to welcome them aboard. O.P.S. Sir Laurence, in his mustard colour check suit pictured with his wife [Joan Plowright].
