CCTV keeps an eye on Maude, the London Zoo giraffe

As nobody knows just when the happy event will be, they have to keep a constant -- and anxious -- eye on her. A new system of CCTV released today by AEI will do this for them. "maud" will have her privacy undisturbed by the camera, top left, which will relay her activities to a TV screen in the head keeper's office. This new AEI system allows high picture definition even in the lowest light conditions.
