The Sun photograph by Roy Spencer titled 'Safeguard Exhibition at Free Trade Hall, Manchester'. Caption on back reads: Chief Insp. J. Bardsley (Crime Prevention Officer for City of Manchester Police) - on left, observes the installation of a closed circuit TV camera (similar to that used by Metropolitan Police) on a balcony of the Free Trade Hall in readiness for tomorrow's opening of the exhibition. The camera will record street and shop scenes which will be viewed on a set on the E.M.I. stand inside the hall. Operating the camera are Jack Gill and Rob marshall (right), two E.M.I. employees.
