Illuminated testimonial, presented to Ernest Frederick Stanhope Notter in January 1901 by his colleagues at Colwick, where he was foreman of the Locomotive Department and for the Nottingham district, signed by F. Bricknell, A. Adcock, J. Ingledew and S. Wilson, with an image of a Great Northern Railway down Scottish Express climbing the Northern Heights on the outskirts of London, double headed by a 2-2-2 and a 4-2-2, after this he became the Great Northern Railway’s District Locomotive Superintendent at King’s Cross, until his retirement in 1924, framed and glazed, 509mm x 619mm x 19mm.
