Caption on verso reads: "Trembling and near to tears film actress Elizabeth Taylor, wearing white astrakhan coat and with black lace handkerchief over her hair, is seen at London Airport to-day (Friday). She was on her way to her sick father's bedside in the United States. She said 'I heard at four a.m. to-day that my father had had a stroke. He is seriously ill in Los Angeles. I left Dublin immediately".
