Portable Automatic Record Player

The demonstrator slips a disc into the slot of a new portable automatic record player at the Radio and Television Fair in Frankfurt, Germany. And that's all she has to do. The battery-powered automatic player does the rest. It plays 3,000 sides - the number of discs on the table in front of the demonstrator - before the battery runs down and has to be replaced. The new automatic portable is made by Philips.
