Pedometer movement, exactly matching that of Clockmakers Museum No. 1437 (L2017-2179). Blued steel hand. White enamel dial elegantly numbered 0 – 11. Steel movement with ‘snailed’ plates and blued screws. Late 19th c. 38mm dia.

Travel case for 'Memento Mori' watch in the form of a skull, known as the 'Mary Queen of Scots' Watch. Leather stretched over wood, made from two parts hinged together (hinge now missing). Two latches (one now missing) on the opposite side would secure the case.
