Pedometer in a nickel-plated case, bow and pocket hook combined. Blued steel hand (subsidiary hand missing). Yellowing card dial, the outer ring reading 1 – 10, and the subsidiary recording up to 100. Signed AMERICAN PEDOMETER PATENT APPLIED FOR THE NEW HAVEN CLOCK CO U.S.A. The movement stamped brass with brass screws. A spiral spring counteracts the weight. A central knurled knob zeros the hands. A small scale and snake-like lever allows pace adjustment. Said to be made according to the American Pedometer Co’s Patent 738,482 of 1903. 44mm dia.
