Pedometer in a much-rubbed nickel-plated brass case

Pedometer in a much-rubbed nickel-plated brass case, the zeroing button within the oval bow. Blued steel hands. White enamel dial (damaged at the base), the outer ring marked from 1 – 10, the subsidiary dial marked to 100. Hinged back. Polished and plated brass movement, with pace adjustment. The weight stamped Déposé, together with the letters HC for Henri Chatelain, France and a representation of a pedometer or map wheel. Mid 20th century. 46mm dia. Made by Henri Chatelain.
