Pedometer in plated case

Pedometer in plated case. Black and red painted hands. The printed dial consists of two concentric rings. The outer, in red, records 1 – 10 miles in 1/10ths of a mile. The inner ring, in black records 1 – 20 miles. The dial is inscribed SMITHS STRIDEMASTER and MADE IN GT BRITAIN. The hands are set to zero by the winding button. The length of stride is set by a screw on the back of the pedometer, where a small aperture shows the adjustment in inches. The movement is stamped steel.
