Circular Parkesine Medallion. Mid brown. One side shows two draped nymphs, one holding a cross, wearing a helmet and carrying a chalice in right hand. Other female carries book in left hand. Building to right. Underneath figures stamped "Religioni Ac Donis Artibus" "P.W.F". Lower side blank. Printing/moulding defect - shadows of figures visible. Marked P96. Made by Alexander Parkes; c.1862.
