Parkesine Medallion, one brown and one green side. Slightly warped. Green side shows Prince Albert in right profile and stamped around rim with "Prince Albert, Consort of Queen Victoria". Under his head reads "J. Moore Birm". Brown side has raised border of leaves and berries and is stamped with "Parkesine Exhibition Medal Awarded 1862 A. Parkes Birm Patentee". Marked P81. Made by Alexander Parkes; c.1862
