A collection of digital archive material relating to the development of the Virustatic snood, a fabric face covering with an anti-viral protein coating which traps and disables certain viruses, by Virustatic and the University of Manchester, 1918-2021.

The archive material consists of prototype sketches, lab results, test reports (embargoed), a copy of the US Patent for the Viruferrin™ anti-viral protein, communications documents including graphics showing the snood in use and explaining how the protein works, logos, marketing photographs, information leaflets and user guide, and a photograph of the inventor’s grandfather who inspired the technology.
