One photograph featuring C.F. Johnston of Messrs, Gillett & Johnston (Croyden), and his two children examine a 36-bell carillon set ready to ship on the SS America to Stamford Conneticut, United States of America. The carillon is a gift from Dr. Muller (president of the Nestle Company) and the Nestle Company to the Church of Stamford as a token of appreciation. Members of the factory were evacuated to Stamford, Conneticut during the war.
