Caption on the back reads: ‘A convoy of motor-lorries, contain about 50 men and accompanied by a strong force of police, arrived early in the morning at the farm of Mr. R.H. Rash, at Wortham Suffolk, and began to load the animals that had been impounded for tithe. Planks were placed across trenches that had been dug around the buildings. There were other obstructions.
